Nowadays, taking selfies, groupie, couplefie are so in. Everywhere we go, whatever we do, we take selfies. It became a normal part of our daily lives now, not just here in the Philippines where you can find the “Selfie capital of the world”, but also for other smartphone users all over the globe.
But we must admit, if you are using the front camera of your phone, the photo quality is mostly not clear which sometimes kinda’ frustrating. Instead, we use the back camera and do the “trial and error” until we get the best photo. But now, you can take good and quality front camera photos just the same with the back camera with Asus ZenFone Selfie.
WHAT’S INSIDE THE BOX?
- USB Cable
- Instruction Manual
- ZenFone Selfie unit
Maybe you are looking for the earphones? Well, for Asus ZenFone Selfie, it does not come with earphones. Actually, it’s just fine for me because I have my own earphones already. 🙂
Moving on… Let’s talk about ZenFone Selfie’s front and back camera. ZenFone Selfie’s exceptional front-facing 13 MP Pixel Master camera has 88-degree wide-angle lens and a f/2.2-apperture which can actually capture a wider space. Just perfect for a groupie and for selfies that requires wide angle sights. It also has dual-LED real tone flash technology that gives perfect illumination in any light conditions. ZenFone Selfie’s front and back camera almost got the same specifications, both equipped with five-prism Largan lenses and top quality Toshiba sensors. The back-facing camera is more advance giving f/2.0 aperture lens and can autofocus as quick as 0.2 seconds. Look at the video below to see how fast it is to shift focus.
So I get to test the photo quality of the front and rear camera during my recent trip at Club Punta Fuego, feel free to compare and appreciate.
FRONT CAMERA: Wow! the front cam really delivers clear and sharp photos.(Photos taken on Auto mode setting) And yes! Just like in the back camera, there’s a flash too in the front cam.(but did not use it in the following photos below yet since it is broad daylight. Will post pictures soon in my Instagram account @CristelleTorres regarding that.)
REAR CAMERA: (Photos taken on Auto mode setting, same lighting exposure)
I also used another smartphone(iPhone6) to compare the quality of photos… be the judge. Which one is better?…
For more beautiful photos, you may choose from different camera settings(mode) that will allow you to take photos on diffferent style. Got to try the Panorama mode and excited to experiment with other modes as well.
You might be wondering how’s the video quality of the Asus Zenfone Selfie back camera, well here’s my sample video. (please choose the highest resolution to appreciate the video properly) I must say that this phone can really take decent and clear video which is perfect to capture any important moment in good quality.
