A One Day Beach Getaway at Playa Laiya Beach Club

Beach is one of the most popular summer destination not just here in the Philippines but also abroad. In fact we have a lot of beautiful beaches here in the Philippines that international tourists and even us locals go to just to relax and free our mind from the stressful ambiance of work and city life.

I must admit, I am not a beach person. But whenever I go to one, I would enjoy myself by appreciating the beauty of nature that God has given us. The sound of the waves, the relaxing view, the water species and a whole lot more.

Playa Laiya And just recently, I went on a beach trip with my blogger friends in San Juan, Batangas which is just about 3 hours away from Metro Manila. Oh! I so need this vitamin sea right now! this trip was just very timely.

So we had our morning merienda, lunch and early dinner at Playa Laiya Beach club’s restaurant… The Sands. In fairness, the food that they are serving are really good. So if you are tired to cook your food for packed meals, you can dine in this food place.

By the way, bringing food inside the beach club is allowed. However, there’s a corkage fee of PHP100.oo/person.

A One Day Beach Getaway at Playa Laiya Beach ClubLifeguard now on duty! hahaha just kidding. Just posed as a lifeguard on this photo. But kidding aside, the beach club do really have a lifeguard that can help you in case of drowning or whenever an emergency situation arises while you are enjoying your swim.

A One Day Beach Getaway at Playa Laiya Beach ClubToo bad, I had my period that day, I wasn’t able to join our group on riding the banana boat. So I just rode the speedboat instead and watched my other blogger friends enjoy the ride.

A One Day Beach Getaway at Playa Laiya Beach ClubWell, i did enjoy it still… riding the speed boat while it pulls the banana boat. Hey there my speed boat buddy…. Ruth dela Cruz.

A One Day Beach Getaway at Playa Laiya Beach ClubOur group also enjoyed the island hopping activity. We visited a certain island there called “Pampang Island” which is about 20-30 mins boat ride away from the beach club proper.

A One Day Beach Getaway at Playa Laiya Beach ClubIt was really gloomy that day and was raining from time to time. Thankfully, the waves were calm and we arrived safely to the island.

Since I can’t swim and snorkel due to my untimely period, I just took some photos and just enjoy the scenic view.

Playa Laiya Beach ClubSaw these amazing creatures while wondering the island’s shore. There are a lot of hermits crabs there. Don’t worry they are harmless. Just in case you will be visiting the island, please do not take them. Just leave them as they were.

You may inquire at Playa Laiya for the Island hopping rates/package.

A One Day Beach Getaway at Playa Laiya Beach ClubAfter our island hopping, we headed back to the resort to clean-up and change. This is another thing that I like in Playa Laiya, they really do have huge, clean and cozy toilet and shower area. You can comfortably change there and you have a lot of space to move at.

A One Day Beach Getaway at Playa Laiya Beach ClubPlaya Laiya Beach Club is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 8:00a.m to 6:00p.m. Please be reminded that the beach club is CLOSED EVERY MONDAYS.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Playa Laiya Beach Club is not accepting walk-in guest(s), prior booking/reservation is required. You may settle your payment upon arrival at the beach club.

So, if you have  limited number of time for your vacation and are planning for a quick beach trip, then Playa Laiya Beach Club is a place you should consider. Hope that you will enjoy your visit there just like me.
