Matabungkay Beach Hotel is now offering  new dihes with a touch of Batangas twist, which will be included in their Cafe Cabalero menu for the whole month of November.

Binarakong Baka- Beef cooked in famous Batangas Barako coffee. I love this dish. The taste of Barako coffee made the dish quite bitter sweet but taste so good.

Kalderetang Kambing with Couscous Rice- This is my personal favorite. It is a little bit spicy dish and I love  the taste of melted cheese blended with other ingredients, it made the taste creamy. The meat of the Kambing is very soft and there’s no “maanggo” taste in it.

Sizzling Ice Cream- Chocolate ice cream on top of sliced Batangas Cupcake  with caramel and Batangas Lambanog on a sizzling plate.

Fried Ice Cream- Ice Cream coated with breadcrumbs deep fried until golden brown, topped and served with caramel syrup.

Coffee Creme Brulee- Another Batangas dessert dish with a twist of Batangas’ famous Barako coffee

Former contestants of the first Junior Master Chef Philippine Edition, Jobim Jalbuena(cooked the Binarakong Baka) and Tricia Baylosis(cooked the Kalderetang Kambing with Couscous Rice) at the Matabungkay Beach Hotel Food Festival.

Also present in the event, Chef Manny of Magnolia(the major sponsor of the event) who cooked the Sizzling Ice Cream and Fried Ice cream.

Matabungkay Beach Hotel also offers and features different Batangas native foods available only for the  month of November.
