Kalderetang Kambing with Couscous Rice- This is my personal favorite. It is a little bit spicy dish and I love the taste of melted cheese blended with other ingredients, it made the taste creamy. The meat of the Kambing is very soft and there’s no “maanggo” taste in it.
Sizzling Ice Cream- Chocolate ice cream on top of sliced Batangas Cupcake with caramel and Batangas Lambanog on a sizzling plate.
Fried Ice Cream- Ice Cream coated with breadcrumbs deep fried until golden brown, topped and served with caramel syrup.
Coffee Creme Brulee- Another Batangas dessert dish with a twist of Batangas’ famous Barako coffee
Former contestants of the first Junior Master Chef Philippine Edition, Jobim Jalbuena(cooked the Binarakong Baka) and Tricia Baylosis(cooked the Kalderetang Kambing with Couscous Rice) at the Matabungkay Beach Hotel Food Festival.
