Madison’s Bistro Moderne is located at the ground floor of the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City.  Which is very accessible for  commuting customers and those with own vehicle.

Just recently, I was invited to the opening of this fine dining restaurant, Madison’s Bistro Moderne. It was my first time to eat on a fine-dining Restaurant, but of course since it was the opening night. I really did not experience it because there were  lots of people inside the resto and even outside. (But I will definitely go back to experience how Madison Bistro Moderne do fine dining.)

 When I walked inside Madison’s Bistro Moderne, I already felt the ambiance of class, elegance and exclusivity of the place. The interiors are like in a 5- star hotel.

Madison’s Bistro Moderne also has a bar where you can order a wide variety of drinks from juices to shakes to liquors to specialty-mixed drinks and many more. I looked into the menu of their best wines, and I can’t believe how much a specific alcohol beverage costs… The Strathisia 1960, a single malt whisky which is worth Php 70,560 per bottle and Php 5,880 per shot. Whew! 🙂

I was able to taste some of Madison’s Bistro Modern’ finest dishes.

Speck and Goat Cheese Mousse (Php 550)

With Truffle scent, and Apple Mustard Chutney.

I don’t usually like cold cuts but I will make an exemption for this dish because it was really a flavorful dish.

Crispy Fried Calamari Rings- Php265

Served with Mare Rose Sauce

Actually there’s nothing new with the taste of calamari, They all taste the same it just varry with the dip. the dip used in this dish is superb. you can even pair it up with the fries 🙂

Handcut Shoestring Potato Fries (Php 165)

I love fries!, That is why this dish definitely catched my taste. Very well presented in a little and very cute bucket. 🙂

Mixed Green Salad (Php 295)

Caramelized Pear, Beet Root, Tomato, Gorgonzola Cheese, and wallnuts in White Balsalmic Dressing.

Homemade Herb Pappardelle Pasta (Php 450)

With Sausage Ragoute and Pecorino Cheese.

If you love pasta, you might want to try this pasta dish. I have tasted this, the taste is just fine. A dish that will not leave me craving for it.

Homemade Spaghetti Chitarra with Vongole (Php 480)

Natural seafood flavored pasta dish that will definitely leave a good mark on your taste buds.

Norwegian Salmon Fillet (Php 680)

With Yellow pepper Risotto cake, Glazed Cipollini onion, and White wine velloute.

Well cooked salmon that you would love with every bite especially when you it it with the Risotto cake.

Braised Lamb Shank (Php 750)

Served with mashed potato and baby vegetables. I love how tender the Lamb was. It is nicely cooked with just a little “anggo” . The mashes potato is simply the best. well mashed, and taste really good.

Will definitelygo back at Madison’s Bistro Moderne as a regular customer for further review regarding services and other food choices.
