The SM  Mall of Asia ARENA is set for its grand launch this June 16, 2012, 8PM, on this very venue The SM Mall of Asia ARENA. Participated by our very own world-class artists namely… ARNEL PINEDA, BAMBOO, BASIL VALDEZ, CHRISTIAN BAUTISTA, ERIK SANTOS, FREDDIE AGUILAR, JED MADELA, JOSE MANALO, JOSE MARI CHAN, JURIS, MARTIN NIEVERA, OGIE ALCASID, PIOLO PASCUAL, POKWANG, REGINE VELASQUEZ, THE COMPANY, WALLY BAYOLA, ZSA ZSA PADILLA, LEA SALONGA and GARY VALENCIANO, hosted by Jim Paredes and Pops Fernandez.

“ICONS at the Arena” is Directed by Johnny Manahan and musically directed by the “Maestro” Ryan Cayabyab. Cool right?. A jampack of musical legends in one arena. This is a once in a lifetime concert event that is really hard to miss out!

I am really looking forward to watch this concert as I may say… “Concert of the legends” . It is really a dream concert for me seeing most of our greatest artists perform in one stage in a world-class venue… The SM Mall of Asia ARENA. (Hahahaha! I’m having goosebumps already, what more if it is live!)

I love music and I like singing, that is why when I heard of this concert I really got excited because not just one but three of my favorite OPM artists will be there… Ms. Lea Salonga, Mr. Martin Nievera and The CompanY.

Lea Salonga, a world-class artist a very good performer. She has made her mark in the  music industry and in theater industry. I love the clarity of her voice.  Her diction is very good that everytime she sings, you would really understand every word. She really is my favorite female singer and I am a huge fan. I’m looking forward to see and meet her or even just hear her sing live.

My favorite male artist, Mr. Martin Nievera. I love how he interprets songs and give his songs soul that you can really feel it and he really amazes me how he throws away high notes when he sings.  His hosting  skills are top notch, a man of many words as a host.

And lastly, my favorite All-Filipino singing group… The CompanY. This singing group is really good, especially on how they blend their voices to create a very sound and beautiful music. Their combination, for me, is perfect,  especially when they sing a cappella. I love how they do renditions of the popular and novelty songs… very lively and cool.
