Mother’s Day isn’t just another date on the calendar—it’s that time to really think about the woman who held it all together, especially when everything felt like it was falling apart.
When I was younger, I didn’t always notice the small things my mother did for me. But now, that I am actually a mom myself, I see it so clearly—how many quiet sacrifices she made, how many dreams she tucked away just so I could go after mine. I really am forever grateful that she is my mom.
Quite sad that my mom is not here in the country to celebrate Mother’s Day, so this time it’s just me. And Mother’s day came a little bit early as I was treated to a Mom-Me Day of fun at Kids Kingdom Play zone, good food at The Taste of Czaczacza and surprised pampering at David’s Salon in SM City San Mateo.

If you’re lucky enough to still have your mom around, don’t wait for the perfect moment. Make it this one. Celebrate her loud and proud. And if, like some of us, you carry your mother in memory—do something she would’ve loved. Cook her favorite dish, listen to her favorite song, or just sit with the love she left behind.
At the end of the day, Mother’s Day is about showing up for the person who’s always shown up for you. Treat your mom for a Mom-Me time she will never forget.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
