I’m currently using the Midnight Black version, and I love how stylish and low-maintenance it is. It’s beautifully minimal—chic, easy to pair with any outfit. The matte finish and aluminum frame give the phone an extra touch of elegance — plus, it’s resistant to fingerprints, which is a total win for moms like me who are always multitasking (and snacking).

And if you’re into more colorful options, don’t worry—it also comes in Meteor Silver, Tidal Blue, and the eye-catching Desert Gold.

A standout design feature on the back is the trapezoid-shaped camera module with softly rounded edges. It houses the dual rear cameras and LED flash, which sit inside two large circular rings stacked neatly on top of each other—a modern and eye-catching setup.

When it comes to ports and buttons, the HONOR 400 5G keeps things clean and simple. On the right side, you’ll find the usual suspects — the volume buttons and power/sleep button — all easy to reach, even with one hand (yes, even while holding a snack pouch in the other!).

The left side is totally clean. Down at the bottom, you’ve got the speaker grille, USB-C charging port, microphone, and SIM card tray — all neatly tucked in without feeling crowded. Up top, there’s a second speaker and microphone, along with a handy IR blaster — a fun bonus if you like turning your phone into a remote for your TV.

Like many newer phones, the HONOR 400 5G doesn’t come with a headphone jack—which might be a bit of a letdown if you’re still holding onto your favorite wired earbuds. You might need to switch to wireless or use an adapter.

Audio Quality- Sound Listening

Whether I’m playing lullabies, hopping on a call, or watching shows with my toddler, the HONOR 400 5G’s speakers get the job done. The sound is crisp and more than loud enough to hear over background noise—like a blender or a toddler meltdown. It’s not super bass-heavy, but it’s clean and clear.

Camera & Video – Capturing Everyday Moments Beautifully

The HONOR 400 5G brings a solid upgrade with its new 200MP main camera, offering sharper photos and better stability thanks to the OIS. Even without a dedicated zoom lens, the high resolution allows you to crop in for portraits or zoom-style shots without much loss in quality. The 12MP ultra-wide camera doubles as a macro lens, perfect for both landscape and close-up photography.

I love how the HONOR 400 5G lets me capture everything—from the beautiful chaos of a birthday party to my daughter’s sweet little smirk—without needing pro gear. The Harcourt Filters are back (Vibrant, Colour, and Classic), and they give your portraits a soft, polished look I’m totally obsessed with.

Outdoor shots? Gorgeous. Indoors? As long as the lighting’s decent, they’re still really sharp. The ultra-wide lens is amazing for group pics (hello, weekend trips!), and even without a zoom lens, the 30x AI Super Zoom cleans things up nicely when I need to zoom in on school stage moments from the back row.”**
