I love going to cafe’ because it usually gives the ambiance of elegance and class. That is why I went the opening of AFTERS Espresso and Desserts, located in Tomas Morato.
The facade of the place, for those who want to smoke or dine outside.
Like other cafe’ Afters also have an open bar kitchen where they prepare the drinks.
They serve different kind of pastries, bread, baked goodies, gelato ice cream, and coffee drinks, and shakes.
Time to taste! Yum yum! Here are some of the food selections… Too bad I wasn’t able to taste everything. 🙁
Corned Beef Pie
I usually don’t eat corned beef with the bread but when I tasted this. I love it! the bread was freshly baked,very soft. The corned beef was well cooked, the strands are soft as well.
Moist Chocolate Cake
The name speaks for itself… it is really moist and tasty. The chocolate is not bitter like other chocolate cakes. Love it!
Dulce de Leche
I love cheesecakes! at Afters they call it Dulce de Leche. Very soft, very tasty. Mouth watering.
Lava Cake
Similar to the Chocolate cake, but this is more chocolatey! heheh
Ensaymada
Actually, I wasn’t able to get the name of this bread. It looks like and taste like ensaymada to me hehehehe…. the bread is soft, the cheese and the cream blends well in your tongue.
Lemon Torte and Lemon Square
These two has a common taste… sour. heheheh ofcourse it is because of the lemon added to it. The Lemon square’s consistency resembles to sansrival, chewy and soft.

I love these mini pies. they are freshly baked, the cheese melted properly and sinks in with the flavor of each pies. Very Deliciously made.
And lastly, if you want a healthy food choice.. you better choose this flavored yogurt. No artificial flavors all natural.
