The Century Tuna Superbods competition is entering a new era as it celebrates two decades of promoting health, fitness, and wellness among Filipinos.
Now marking its 20th anniversary, the iconic fitness campaign recently introduced its Top 40 Superbod finalists during the #SuperbodEra launch event. This year’s competition puts a stronger focus on the stories, advocacies, and personal journeys behind every finalist, highlighting the idea that being fit is about more than physical appearance.
With Century Tuna Brand Ambassador Anne Curtis joining the finalists at the event, the Top 40 contestants took the opportunity to share the experiences that shaped their individual wellness journeys.
More Than Physical Fitness
This year’s Superbod Era looks beyond sculpted physiques and intense workouts. The campaign aims to highlight the different backgrounds, experiences, abilities, professions, and stages of life represented by the finalists.
Each contestant brings a personal story and a health or wellness advocacy to the competition. These range from accessible nutrition and mental wellness to physical training and other initiatives designed to encourage healthier lifestyles.
“Having been with Century Tuna for so many years, I’ve had a front-row seat to how this brand and this platform have grown,” said Anne Curtis. “What makes Superbods so special is how it brings real human stories to the center stage.”
She also shared her admiration for the finalists as they use their platform to champion causes that matter to them and encourage others to take their own health and wellness journeys seriously.
Preparing the Next Generation of Superbods
The journey toward the finals began well before the #SuperbodEra launch. Following the callback stage, the finalists went through a series of activities, workshops, and wellness challenges designed to prepare them for the responsibilities that come with being a Superbod.
These experiences are intended to help the finalists develop not only their physical fitness but also their confidence, personal growth, and ability to inspire others.
At the launch event, the contestants had the opportunity to talk about their respective health and wellness advocacies, demonstrating how their personal experiences have shaped their goals.
From promoting accessible nutrition to encouraging mental wellness and active lifestyles, their stories show that wellness can take many forms.
A Platform for Every Body
For Century Tuna, the 20th year of Superbods reinforces its goal of creating a platform that celebrates different kinds of people and different paths toward better health.
“Now in its 20th year, Century Tuna Superbods has become a platform for every body where purpose takes center stage,” said Carlo Endaya, Vice President, General Manager, and Group Business Head of Century Pacific Food Inc.
According to Endaya, the competition aims to show that anyone, regardless of their stage in life, can begin their own Superbod Era. While physical fitness may bring contestants to the stage, the campaign emphasizes using their experiences and influence to encourage others to pursue healthier lifestyles.
Grand Prize Awaits the Winners
With the competition moving closer to its grand finals, the Top 40 finalists are competing for major prizes and the opportunity to become the next faces of healthy living.
The Male Grand Winner and Female Grand Winner will each receive ₱1 million, while the Male and Female Runners Up will each receive ₱250,000.
As the road to Finals Night continues, fans can follow the finalists’ individual stories, take part in upcoming digital activities, and vote for their favorites.
